Job summary

East Gibson School Corporation in Indiana is seeking an Athletic Director to lead a dynamic K-12 athletic program, train coaches, and foster sportsmanship while building positive relationships with students, families, and the community.

The successful candidate will manage practices, games, tournaments, scheduling, officials, concessions, and the budget; communicate clearly with stakeholders; and promote high standards of safety, accountability, and competitive excellence across all sports.

East Gibson School Corporation is seeking an Athletic Director with leadership and organizational experience. This role will create a dynamic and competitive athletic program K-12, train coaches and lay coaches on how to enhance skill development among our athletes to perform at a higher level, instill sportsmanship in our athletes for lifelong lessons, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.   4. Proficient in organization and management skills to oversee all athletic activities; including practices, games, tournaments, and special events; maintain schedules for all athletics; schedule officials for all athletic events, coordinate the concession stand operations, and administer the athletic budget.
  5. Talented in exemplary professional communication skills, both written and verbal.You have a unique gift for the spoken and written word, are highly articulate and can adapt your approach to resonate effectively with diverse audiences.
  6. Flexible enough to handle multiple projects simultaneously and pivot to address the opportunities of the new day while meeting deadlines.
