Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate in WM Escheatment Operations in Baltimore, Maryland. Job description

Overview

We're seeking an Associate in WM Escheatment Operations to collaborate with branches and key stakeholders across multiple businesses to ensure timely reporting and delivery of eligible accounts and assets to state authorities in accordance with state escheatment guidelines. Escheatment Operations manages three key campaigns across Spring, Summer, and Fall.

In the Operations division, the Associate partners with business units across the firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls, and develop client relationships. This role is part of the Client Service & Relationship Management group, engaging in client service activities, optimizing the client experience, and managing vendor/external partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with branches and key stakeholders to ensure timely reporting and delivery of eligible accounts and assets to state authorities.
  • Manage three escheatment campaigns (Spring, Summer, Fall) and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Support financial transactions and devise/implement effective controls for operations.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships and manage vendor/external business partner relationships.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify potential process anomalies and report to management.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $51,000 – $83,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award and participation in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus component.
