Dinges Fire Company in Wisconsin seeks a proactive Fire Equipment Sales Manager to drive growth, manage the sales process for fire equipment, and build lasting client relationships across the state.

The role requires weekly travel within Wisconsin, attending fire shows and meetings at the Amboy home office as needed, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support.

Qualifications

• Must have firefighter background and understand fire dept and EMS needs.
• Proven sales experience, with focus on fire equipment or related industries.
• Strong understanding of fire apparatus and emergency equipment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with proactive problem-solving.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets.
• Identify and establish relationships with potential fire service clients.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of fire equipment to departments.
• Provide expert advice and support to clients to meet their needs.
• Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and terms.
• Maintain detailed sales records and reports.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Dinges Fire Company.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of sold products.
• Weekly travel within Wisconsin and occasional meetings at the Amboy home office.
