Dinges Fire Company in Wisconsin is seeking a proactive Fire Equipment Sales Manager to drive sales growth, manage client relationships, and oversee the sales process for a range of fire equipment. The role requires weekly travel within Wisconsin and periodic travel to the Amboy home office and trade shows.

The ideal candidate will have a firefighter background, proven sales experience in fire equipment, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in fire equipment or related industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
• Identify and establish relationships with potential clients within the fire service industry.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of fire equipment and apparatus to fire departments and emergency services.
• Provide expert advice and support to clients, understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions.
• Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and terms.
• Maintain detailed and accurate sales records and reports.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Dinges Fire Company.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of sold products.
• Travel weekly within Wisconsin and attend Amboy home office meetings and fire shows as needed.
