Job summary

Dinges Fire Company seeks a proactive Fire Equipment Sales Manager to lead our Wisconsin sales efforts. You will drive growth, nurture client relationships, and oversee the sales process for a range of fire equipment and apparatus.

Ideal candidates bring firefighter background and proven sales experience, with strong presentation and negotiation skills. This role requires regular travel within Wisconsin and periodic visits to the Amboy home office and fire shows.

Qualifications

• Must have firefighter background and EMS knowledge.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in fire equipment.
• Strong understanding of fire apparatus and emergency gear.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region and valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies.
• Identify potential clients in the fire service industry.
• Present and demonstrate fire equipment to departments.
• Provide expert advice and support to clients.
• Prepare and negotiate sales proposals and contracts.
• Maintain sales records and reports.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and events.
• Collaborate with internal teams for delivery and support.
• Travel weekly within the state and attend meetings at the home office.
• Grow business with minimal daily in-person management.
