Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a hands-on Wiring Lead to join our manufacturing team. You’ll coordinate daily performance, ensure schedules meet targets, and mentor teammates while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

In this full-time role, you’ll perform hands-on wiring and assembly, read and interpret electrical drawings, train staff, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Night shift available; a proactive, detail‑oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in electronic assembly or as an electrician’s apprentice.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of basic electrical/electronic theory.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, safety-focused mindset.
• Able to work in a team, communicate well, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily department production details, schedules, material shortages, and priorities; provide status updates to Senior Supervisor.
• Oversee safety and quality, ensuring standards and procedures are followed.
• Train and coach team members on project tasks; assess skills and training needs.
• Perform hands-on wiring and assembly using hand tools and correct PPE.
• Interpret electrical drawings and ensure accurate wiring and assembly.
• Adhere to manufacturing procedures and best practices.
• Manage cable sizing and proper ferrule/crimp terminations.
• Understand power vs. control wiring and internal HPI drawings.
• Read HPI drawings, understand cable color coding, and follow internal specs.
• Liaise with project engineers on standards and procedures.
• Field cabling and device installation, mounting, termination to instrumentation, and trunking.
• Assemble, wire, and loom to HPI standards.
• Maintain material levels to prevent production interruptions.
