Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Lead Wiring Technician to lead the manufacturing team, ensure schedules are met with zero quality or safety incidents, and personally contribute to project tasks while mentoring others.

This full-time night shift role requires hands-on wiring, reading electrical drawings, and coaching a team to uphold PPE, procedures, and high standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with engineers, manage materials, and help advance Crusoe's energy-first manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2+ years in electronic assembly or as electrician’s apprentice.
• Technical Drawing Acumen: Read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics.
• Electrical Theory Foundation: Basic electronic/electrical theory.

Responsibilities

• Team Performance & Communication: manage schedules, material shortages, priorities; provide status updates to Senior Supervisor.
• Safety & Quality Oversight: oversee safety and quality; ensure job standards met.
• Training & Coaching: train and coach team members on tasks; assess needs.
• Hands-On Wiring & Assembly: use hand tools, drill/tap metal, measure, strip, crimp, cut wires.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: read controls and electrical drawings for accurate wiring.
• Manufacturing Procedure Adherence: follow industry procedures; align with best practices.
• Cable Management & Termination: size cables; use ferrules and crimp sizes.
• Electrical System Fundamentals: know power vs control wiring.
• HPI Drawing Expertise: read HPI drawings; understand cable color coding.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: liaise with project engineers on standards.
• Field Cabling & Device Installation: install cables, conduit, field devices.
• Assembly & Looming Standards: assemble and loom to HPI standard.
• Material Level Management: maintain material levels to prevent downtime.
