Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a wiring harness engineer in California to drive electrical system design from concept through integration. You will create physical schematics and 2D harness drawings using Capital tools, run circuit simulations, and input on component selection and protection strategies for complex vehicle harnesses.

Qualifikationen

• In-depth knowledge of wiring harness design and development processes.
• Hands-on experience creating physical schematics and 2D wiring harness drawings using Capital tools (Capital Logic, HarnessXC).
• Experience in circuit simulation using Capital Analysis.
• Understanding of component selection (Fuse, Wire, Connector, Insulation).
• Experience defining electrical protection strategies (Relay, Diode).
• Ability to finalize harness topology.
• Familiar with DFMEA, DFM, DFS.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of harness builds in vehicle lines.
• Familiar with standards such as JASO, DIN, JIS.
• Electrical routing and packaging in Catia V5 is a plus.

• Apply in-depth knowledge of harness design and development in all project phases.
• Create and review physical schematics and 2D wiring drawings using Capital tools.
• Run circuit simulations to validate designs and harness performance.
• Select appropriate harness components and define protection strategies.
• Develop and finalize harness topology and routing.
• Contribute to DFMEA/DFM/DFS analyses and design reviews.
• Troubleshoot harness issues on the vehicle line and implement fixes.
• Adhere to relevant standards (JASO, DIN, JIS) and ensure packaging feasibility in Catia V5.
