Job summary

Synstack Technologies in Marysville, OH, is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Harness CAE Designer to support end-to-end harness development using Siemens Capital CAE tools. The role covers topology and routing design, data import from CATIA V5/V6, and generation of BOMs and drawings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/related field.
Hands-on experience in automotive wiring harness design and development.
Proficiency with Siemens Capital / Capital CAE tools for harness design.
Experience with CATIA V5/V6 for harness routing/packaging.
Knowledge of automotive electrical architecture, schematics, connectivity, and harness documentation.
Ability to develop logical/physical harness designs with release readiness.
Experience generating harness manufacturing deliverables (BOMs, drawings, wire lists, reports).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work onsite and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

End-to-end harness development using Siemens Capital CAE tools.
Develop logical wiring architecture models (power/ground/signal networks).
Create physical harness designs including topology, routing, splices, and connectors.
Reference/import data from CATIA V5/V6 to extract 3D routing/intent.
Reference/import logical data from EAZ to extract connectivity info.
Generate manufacturing-ready outputs (2D drawings, BOMs, wire lists, reports).
Perform design validation: electrical rule checks and voltage-drop readiness.
Benchmark Siemens Capital outputs against legacy CATIA/EAZ and prepare delta reports.
Maintain revision-controlled harness datasets with traceability.
Prepare technical/workflow documentation and design review materials.
Collaborate with Honda and supplier stakeholders on delivery and improvements.
