Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking an entry-level Wireline Trainee to support the plugging and abandonment program in PA, WV, and OH. You will work under experienced Wireline Engineers to learn equipment operation, safety protocols, and environmentally responsible well retirement procedures.

The role offers hands-on training and the potential to grow into a Wireline Engineer. Candidates must have a Class B CDL and be willing to obtain HazMat, Blaster’s License, and Explosives

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class B CDL.
• Must obtain Hazardous Materials Endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain a Blaster’s License within 6 months of hire.
• Must pass ATF background check and obtain Explosives Possessor’s License within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions.
• Basic math and computer skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with Wireline Engineer, Wireline Manager, Rig Manager, and/or Rig Foreman to prepare trucks and tools for jobs on site.
• Safely position the wireline truck and rig up equipment such as chains, sheaves, and pack-offs.
• Assist with rigging up tools and learn their purpose, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Track and inventory explosives and expendables; inspect and service tools.
• Learn to handle explosives safely and comply with regulations.
• Operate the wireline draw works and troubleshoot the Warrior 7/8 system.
• Maintain safety culture and report near misses, injuries, or incidents.
• Complete required training and assist with special projects as needed.
