Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking a Rig Hand I in training to support operations across West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. You will assist in rig setup, maintain equipment, and help with plugging and abandonment tasks under supervision.

This entry‑level role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and practical field skills. Expect to work outdoors in varying weather, perform heavy lifting, and travel to remote well sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work in various weather and site conditions.
• Physically demanding work and ability to travel to remote well sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of plugging rigs.
• Safely handle drilling tools, equipment and materials.
• Rig up and rig down equipment for plugging/abandonment tasks.
• Operate rig tools and equipment following safety guidelines.
• Load/unload pipe and equipment; move and position tubing and well components.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of rig equipment.
• Work with crew to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings.
