Nextlink Internet is seeking a dedicated Tower Technician to install, maintain, and repair antennas and related equipment on outdoor towers. The role requires climbing towers up to heights described in safety protocols, with adherence to all safety and reporting procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic hand tools experience, and a strong commitment to safety. The position is full-time and on-site, with irregular hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and repair antenna systems on tower sites.
• Perform tower climbing and maintenance with proper safety procedures.
• Run power, ground, fiber, Cat5e and coaxial cabling as required.
• Inspect work and ensure proper fittings, weatherproofing, and alignment.
• Complete JSA safety analyses and document outcomes.
