Amazon's OpsTech Networking (OTN) Wireless team is building next-generation connectivity infrastructure powering thousands of sites worldwide. We seek a Wireless Network Development Engineer to lead technical design, automation, and verification for scalable wireless systems used by robotics, sensors, and mobile devices.

You will influence network reliability, security, and performance, mentor colleagues, and drive pilot deployments across global fulfillment centers, ensuring robust operations

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and networking.
• Experience designing, deploying, or managing enterprise wireless networks.
• Strong RF fundamentals, including 802.11 protocols and channel planning.
• Experience with IP networking fundamentals and packet analysis.
• Experience automating network operations with scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and deliver technical solutions that improve wireless network availability.
• Understand customer needs and create wireless solutions.
• Deliver scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized wireless deployments.
• Investigate root causes of customer impact and drive corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies, run pilots, and lead deployment efforts.
• Automate testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of infrastructure.
