Job summary

Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc. is seeking a motivated Wireformer Operator to join our 2nd shift production team. You will operate wireforming equipment, inspect parts, perform machine setups, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints and work orders, use calipers and micrometers, and follow safety procedures while contributing to quality and efficiency in a stable manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Manufacturing, machine operation, blueprint reading, or quality inspection experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wireforming machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load wire materials and perform machine startups and shutdowns.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and production travelers.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and optical comparators.
• Assist with tooling changes, machine setup, and preventive maintenance.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality and reduce scrap.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Wireformer Operator
