Job summary

TECEZE is seeking field technicians in the United States who will be equipped with the necessary tools and skills to support network devices and restore service efficiently.

You will work on-site, access Managed Equipment, perform routine programming and configuration tasks, and coordinate with remote engineers when needed.

The role requires practical knowledge of networking basics, problem solving, and the ability to handle hardware tools and connectivity equipment provided by TECEZE.

Qualifications

• Field technicians must be qualified in the technologies they support.
• Must be able to console to devices and perform basic configuration.

Responsibilities

• Access Managed Equipment and perform routine programming and configuration tasks.
• Maintain and use supplied tools to restore service.

Job description

Supplier’s field technicians shall be fully prepared with the appropriate tools and skillsets. For instance, they shall possess the basic networking skills to directly console to a device and perform configuration tasks to restore service. All tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, ladders, etc.) shall be supplied by the field technician.

All field technicians shall be fully qualified in the technologies they always support and have the following tools as necessary:

• Laptops with console cables
• Crossover and Ethernet cables
• Basic tool sets (screwdrivers, plyers, etc.)
• Cell phones and 4G/5G connectivity for console access to remote engineers
• Thumb drive/USB drive

Field technicians must be able to access Managed Equipment and perform routine programming and configuration tasks.
