Job summary

TECEZE is seeking field technicians who can service and configure devices in the field, restoring services quickly and reliably. You will work with your supplied tools to access equipment, console into devices, and perform standard configuration tasks as needed.

Applicants should be prepared with basic networking knowledge and the ability to use laptops, cables, USB drives, and mobile connectivity to reach remote equipment and complete routine programming and reconfiguration.

Qualifications

• Basic networking skills to console into devices and perform configuration tasks.
• Tools and equipment shall be supplied by the field technician.

Job description

Supplier’s field technicians shall be fully prepared with the appropriate tools and skillsets. For instance, they shall possess the basic networking skills to directly console to a device and perform configuration tasks to restore service. All tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, ladders, etc.) shall be supplied by the field technician.

All field technicians shall be fully qualified in the technologies they always support and have the following tools as necessary:

• Laptops with console cables
• Crossover and Ethernet cables
• Basic tool sets (screwdrivers, plyers, etc.)
• Cell phones and 4G/5G connectivity for console access to remote engineers
• Thumb drive/USB drive

Field technicians must be able to access Managed Equipment and perform routine programming and configuration tasks.
