Job summary

Amerantbank in Miramar, FL is seeking a Wire Transfer Operations Clerk to input and process international wire instructions with accuracy, aligned to customer requests and MC3 cases.

The role requires 1–2 years in wire transfer operations, bilingual English and Spanish, and proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel. You will ensure SLAs are met, investigate discrepancies, and support other departmental functions as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years experience in Wire Transfer International Operations Dept.
• Detail oriented with good oral communications; bilingual English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Internet and MS Office (Word & Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Input wire transfer instructions from Mc3, emails and other sources according to customer instructions and cases with accuracy.
• Ensure instructions are processed within SLAs and report delays to Manager or Supervisor.
• Review, process and repair payments from the worklist in OPF and forward to 4ev.
• Manage investigation cases as needed.
• Review NSF queue and balance to continue processing.
• Respond to internal departments via email regarding wire payments.
• Serve as back up to process payments from Compliance Link.
• Report discrepancies by returning wires for correction to the originating employee.
• Review and send payments in Risk Filter and to 4ev in OPF; handle other queues to close of day.
• Assist on other wire departmental functions as needed; adhere to AML/BSA and related policies.
• Identify, evaluate, monitor and recommend to Risk Management Committee to mitigate risks arising from regulatory/nonconformance.
