Job summary

CERTEX USA is seeking a detail-oriented Wire Rope Assembler to join our team in The Meadowlands. You will fabricate, inspect, and assemble varied rope products to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, calculating cut lengths, splicing rope, operating swaging/proof testing machines, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Some travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read drawings/blueprints and measurements.
• Strong math and reading skills are required.
• Proven time management and reliability a must.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings/blueprints and capacity tables.
• Calculate wire rope cut lengths and fittings; select equipment.
• Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
• Operate swaging and proof testing machines; use forklifts.
• Attach labels, maintain inventory, report substandard material.
• Handle shipping/receiving and keep area clean/safe.
• May assist with deliveries when needed.
