Job summary

CERTEX USA in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Wire Rope Assembler to join our team. You will fabricate, inspect and assemble wire, chain or synthetic rope products to meet customer specifications and ensure high quality.

Review drawings and use appropriate equipment to cut, splice, and finish rope assemblies. Apply safety guidelines while operating swaging machines and forklifts, maintain records, and support shipping/receiving as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass background/drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, interpret blueprints and capacity tables.
• Calculate wire rope cut lengths and fitting requirements.
• Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
• Operate swaging machines and forklifts, and maintain safety.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with shipping/receiving.
• Ensure a clean, organized work area and follow PPE rules.
