Job summary

CERTEX USA is seeking a detail-oriented Wire Rope Assembler in Meadowlands, PA, to fabricate, inspect, and assemble rope products to meet high-quality standards and customer specifications.

As an assembler, you will read drawings, select materials, calculate cut lengths, perform splicing, and operate swaging and testing equipment while maintaining safety and inventory records in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the construction, equipment or oil industry preferred.
• Must be able to read drawings/blueprints and capacity tables.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret drawings and blueprints and capacity tables.
• Calculate wire rope cut lengths, fitting requirements and identify equipment for rope/chain assemblies.
• Splice wire rope and fabricating chain slings.
• Operate swaging and proof testing machines; use forklifts; attach tags/labels.
