Job summary

CERTEX USA in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Wire Rope Assembler to fabricate, inspect and assemble wire rope and related products in a warehouse setting. You will read drawings, cut lengths, splice rope, and tag finished items to meet customer specifications.

Ideal candidates are dependable, able to read tape measures, perform precise math, manage time, and work well in a team. The role offers full-time hours with overtime as needed and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the construction, equipment or oil industry is preferred.
• Proficient at math and reading.
• Must be able to read a tape measure or digital micrometer.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, blueprints and capacity tables.
• Calculate wire rope cut lengths and fitting requirements.
• Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
• Operate swaging machines, proof testing devices and forklifts.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with shipping/receiving.
