Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply in Little Rock, AR seeks a warehouse associate to cut, pick, stage, stock wire and balance inventory using RF scanning; some non-CDL box truck deliveries may be required. Hours 7am–5pm with occasional Saturday mornings; entry level pay $16.50 per hour with room to advance.

This safety-sensitive role requires passing a pre-employment drug test and a background check. A HS diploma or GED is preferred; you must identify products, read orders, perform basic math, and operate

Job description

Position requires cutting, picking, stagging, stocking wire, and balancing inventory using RF scanning; also willing to make non-CDL box truck deliveries. 7am to 5pm w/some Saturday mornings. E ntry level pay $16.50 per hour with opportunity for quick advancement.

This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. This test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities. Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED with warehouse, distribution, and delivery experience preferred, but not required. Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code. Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Certification of power-truck equipment. Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.

Physical Requirements:

Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing. Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
