Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply in Little Rock, AR is hiring for a warehouse position. Responsibilities include cutting, picking, stagging, stocking wire and balancing inventory using RF scanning. Entry-level, with training provided, and no CDL required.

Work hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Pre-employment drug test and background check are required. Higher emphasis on candidates with delivery experience; potential for advancement with performance.

Qualifications

• Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.

• Certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.

Job description

Position requires cutting, picking, stagging, stocking wire, and balancing inventory using RF scanning (all training provided); Those with delivery expererience will be considered first (No CDL required). 7am to 5pm M-F. E ntry level positions pay $16.50 per hour with opportunity for rapid advancement.

This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. This test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities. Physical Requirements:

Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing. Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
