Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a warehouse associate to support order fulfillment, shipping tickets, and stock accuracy. You will operate inventory equipment, identify products by codes, and maintain a safe work area.

Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with occasional Saturday mornings. No prior warehouse experience required, but preferred; DOT readiness and potential certification training provided. Competitive weekly pay and benefits offered.

Job Description

Supports the day to day operations of order fulfillment from picking, staging, wrapping, loading, and delivering Product. Responsible for other aspects of warehouse functions when needed: including stocking shelves, inventory reconciliation and maintaining the warehouse/yard in a safe and orderly fashion. Schedule is 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday with minimum overtime (Saturday morning work required 2x per year). Most entry level positions pay above $16.50 per hour.

This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. The test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse, distribution or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to identify product by size, type, style, color code/sku.
• Must be able to read orders/match orders without error on shipping tickets and stock items while manually entering correct catalog numbers.
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
• Organizational skills, attention to details and general data entry competence is a must!
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card is a Must!
• Proven delivery driver experience is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment position.
• 75% of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.
• Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
