Job summary

Open Bank in Los Angeles is seeking a Wire Specialist I to join the Operations Admin team. You will assist daily wire operations, processing incoming and outgoing wires, and support the branch to maintain system integrity, compliance, and client satisfaction.

The role requires attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and the ability to develop queries and create reports. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and banking operations experience is a plus; on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• One year of bank operations experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to develop/run queries, create reports and presentations and provide analysis.
• Accurate data entry and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Input wire transfers accurately and timely.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing wires are checked against OFAC SDN list.
• Perform daily balancing of incoming and outgoing wire transfers, including proper processing and posting.
• Input & follow-up on Canadian Check Collection.
• Process Cash order & Shipment deposit.
• Maintain up to date with the current compliance requirements.
• Complete and understand training classes as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with BSA and other compliance requirements, as applicable to job function.
• Keep informed of daily procedures, internal policies, practices, regulations, and laws as applicable to this function.
