Job summary

Epic Aircraft, located in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Wire Harness Technician to fabricate and troubleshoot electrical assemblies for our all-carbon-fiber turboprop aircraft. You will read engineering documentation and use PC-based applications to complete tasks, with training provided as needed. Starting pay is $22.00/hour, with a Monday–Friday 6:30 a.m.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Experience with stripping and crimping.
  • Experience with soldering tools and techniques.
  • Ability to follow electrical schematics (preferred).
  • Eye for detail and pride in high-quality work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic problems.
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Work well independently and in a team.
  • Open to new ideas, challenges, and learning.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, upgrade, and route wire harnesses according to Engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform avionics installations and set up
  • Properly use Avionics hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Wire HarnessTechnician, you'll be a key member of our Assembly Team and will fabricate and troubleshoot electrical assemblies using various electrical hand tools with accuracy and with minimal assistance. Must be able to read and interpret engineering do cumentation and utilize a PC-based application to complete work. This position requires someexperience (basic electrical skills are helpful) and is a great way to start your career at Epic.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift materials and equipment as required
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday

6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Starting Pay: $22.00/hour
