Nesco Resource is helping a manufacturer in McElhattan, PA hire Wire Harness Operators on 3rd shift. The role involves wire assembly, harness lines, QA/inspection, reading blueprints, and minor equipment adjustments. You will build complex wire assemblies from drawings and perform machine adjustments as required.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, ability to read blueprints, and the capability to measure with a 30-second ruler. Overtime is mandatory; the shift runs 9:55pm–6:00am.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wire assembly, terminating, harness lines, molding and QA/Inspection.

• Adjust machines and change materials as needed.
• Read blueprints and interpret layouts.
• Use small hand tools (tweezers, cutters, crimpers, drivers, pliers, knives).
• Pull and bend wire and cable.

Job description

If you enjoy working with small hand tools and performing assembly, we are looking for you! Our client, a manufacturer located in McElhattan, PA, is looking for Wire Harness Operators on 1st shift!

Primary Job Duties

• Wire assembly, terminating, harness lines, molding and QA/Inspection
• Perform minor equipment adjustments
• Build complex wire assembly from drawings
• Adjust machines, change materials, adjust greasers
• Ready and interpret blueprints
• Utilize small hand tools such as tweezers, wire cutters, wire crimpers, screw drivers, pliers, cable cutters, utility knives, etc..
• Pull and bend wire and cable

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to measure/use 30 sec ruler (measuring test will be administered)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required (added to the end of shift)

Other Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit and/or stand for entire shift
• Previous experience utilizing small hand tools
• Perform high and low repetition jobs
• Perform fine manipulations
• Firm grasping and firm cutting (up to 25 pounds of pressure periodically)
• Work through range of motions including bend and twist from waist, and above shoulder height
• Ability to work mandatory overtime

Hours & Pay

3rd Shift: 9:55pm to 6am (Mandatory overtime, 7:55pm)

$19.80-$20.80/HR
