  • Complete production documentation per standards.
  • Notify management of material defects.
  • Use tools and equipment properly to minimize downtime and tool breakage.
  • Manage own workload for maximum efficiency.
  • Adhere to ISO requirements in the work area.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.

Description

Assist in the assembly of wire harnesses by operating various production equipment and tools which terminate wires and cables.

Pay: $15/hr + $1 shift differential

Schedule: M-F 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Apply terminals using termination equipment in accordance with production documentation and standards
  • Apply terminals manually with appropriate tools in accordance with production standards and documentation
  • Examine work to ensure it is done in accordance with production standards
  • Prepare wires and cables for production in accordance with production documentation and standards
  • Control equipment and materials in an appropriate manner
  • Detect and report equipment malfunctions promptly to management
  • Complete production documentation in accordance with production standards
  • Notify management of material defects
  • Use tools and equipment properly to minimize downtime and tool breakage
  • Manage own work load for maximum efficiency
  • Adheres to all ISO requirements related to the work area
  • Perform other duties reasonably related to the position as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • 20/20 vision with correction
  • Must be able to differentiate between red and green colors
  • Able to lift 25 to 40 pounds for 30 seconds at a time, 3-4 times per day
  • Able to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects
