Job summary

Gromax in Germantown, WI is seeking an experienced Toolmaker, Wire EDM Specialist, or Precision Grinder for a hands-on role in our custom tooling team. This first-shift, full-time position requires reading prints, holding tight tolerances, and solving complex manufacturing challenges.

Wire EDM or manual horizontal grinding experience is highly valued. We offer a diverse range of projects beyond repetitive production, a family-like work environment, and a facility with air conditioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in toolmaking, grinding, or Wire EDM.
• Strong blueprint reading and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
• Operate precision machining and grinding equipment.
• Program and operate Wire EDM equipment where applicable.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Inspect components to tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot tooling and manufacturing issues.
