Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a skilled Wire EDM Programmer/Technician to program, set up, and operate Wire EDM equipment to produce precision parts per customer prints. You will read drawings, use CAM software, and drive quality through first article and in-process checks with Engineering and Quality teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Wire EDM programming/operation, strong GD&T reading ability, and experience with ESPRIT or similar CAM tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience programming and operating Wire EDM machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency with CAM software for Wire EDM.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T to determine machining requirements.
• Program Wire EDM parts using CAM software (ESPRIT preferred) and post-process for machine controls.
• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut precision parts from various materials.
