Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a CNC WIRE-EDM Machinist to set up, program, and operate wire EDM equipment to produce tooling and parts. You will support inspection, tooling inventory, and overall tool room performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires Mastercam proficiency, bluepr int reading skills, and at least one year of technical machinist training; safety and quality are paramount.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; formal CNC/Wire training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year technical training as machinist; CNC/WIRE a must.
• Proficient with Mastercam and manual/automatic tooling.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup, programming, and operation.
• Analyze and interpret drawings, work instructions, and verbal directions for tooling.
• Set up and operate CNC wire and EDM equipment; select materials and settings.
• Program CNC machines using Mastercam and conversational programming to print.
• Inspect, provide tooling support, and contribute to team performance.
