Qualifications

• 2+ years experience programming and operating Wire EDM preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Experience interpreting sketches, blueprints or models in manufacturing.
• Ability to program on Wire EDM machines and inspect conformance.
• Travel not generally required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications to set up tooling properly.
• Set up EDM machines according to specifications.
• Program and operate EDM equipment and oversee its operation.
• Inspect wire EDM parts to ensure conformance.
• Set up and operate production equipment to meet requirements.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Provide quality through thorough planning and continuous improvement.
• Read prints, drawings, and setup sheets.
• Operate sinker EDM machines.
• Maintain quality control over EDM’d parts.
• Perform maintenance and clean equipment.
