Salary Range: $17.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Akron, Ohio area manufacturer is hiring an experienced Wire EDM Machine Operator.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (Trade school or experience)
• Experience setting up and operating CNC Wire EDM Machines (electrical discharge machining)
• Knowledge of EDM (electrical discharge machining) and related terms
• Preferred: Past experience with Mitsubishi CNC Wire EDM Machine
• Knowledge of set-up, operation, & cleaning (threading, float cleaning)
• Preferred: Knowledge of MasterCAM CAD/CAM software programming or editing
• Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints with good math/trig skills
• Ability to handle large parts and use measuring tools
• Knowledge of or ability to learn CNC programming
• Other machining skills are a plus (e.g., lathe, grinder, drill press)
• Physical fitness to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass Criminal Background Check and 10 Panel Drug Screen
• U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only

• Day shift: 7am – 3:30pm
