Job summary

Border States in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Wire Cutter to support wire cutting operations. You will run the wire machine, maximize cuts per reel, verify reel labels and batch codes, and keep logs updated.

The role requires basic math, accuracy, and teamwork, with safety as a priority. Candidates with a two-year degree or equivalent warehousing experience, forklift familiarity, and SAP knowledge are preferred; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in warehouse distribution including forklift and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• Driver criteria: 21+, valid license; medical certification may be required.
• PC skills: Windows, Internet, email; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run the wire machine safely and efficiently.
• Identify wire by reel labels and maintain batch codes.
• Maximize cuts per master reel and update the wire cut log.
• Fill customer orders and backorders; distribute material to stock locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure inventory accuracy.
