Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Wire Cutter in Charlotte, NC. The role supports wire cutting operations, runs the wire machine, and ensures accurate batch coding and log maintenance.

You will fill orders, manage backorders, and coordinate with other departments to address damages or shortages. Applicants should have a 2-year business/trade degree or equivalent experience, forklift exposure, and basic SAP skills.

Qualifications

• 2 year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, candidate must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and may require medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Runs the wire machine in a safe and effective manner.
• Identifies wire based on reel labels and maintains batch codes.
• Maximizes cuts per master reel and updates the wire cut log.
• Fills special orders and backorders as material is received.
• Maintains daily wire machine inspection sheets and inventories material accurately.
