Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Co is seeking a Value-Added Services team member to support VAS functions with high attention to detail and accuracy. You will perform wire cutting, order kitting, and loading for delivery, using RF scanning and various material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Reading cut tags and comments.
• Use of required computer software and industrial equipment.
• Verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet minimum productivity standards.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow instructions.
• Basic mathematics and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and warehouse equipment.
• Familiarity with inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform wire cutting using reel-to-reel and coiler machines.
• Conduct order kitting and sub-assembly to customer specification, ensuring accuracy.
• Set up and perform parallels.
• Receive, pick, relocate, and put away wire and pipe; load for delivery.
• Complete certification for Pulling Heads as required by manufacturer.
• Assist with warehouse activities using RF scanner for pick/pack/ship/receive/put-away/cycle counts.
• Coordinate with supervisor on VAS activities and performance.
• Proactively solve problems and optimize processes.
• Operate MHE including pallets movers, forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order pickers.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe for all.
