Job summary

World Electric is hiring a Wire Cutter to join the warehouse team in Florida. The role involves receiving, storing, cutting, paralleling, and installing heads per customer orders, while managing wire lengths in the wire management system.

You will verify cuts, log them, and assemble customer orders for packing or shipping, using RF devices and inventory software. A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year or more related experience and/or training.
• Ability to operate PIT and perform basic math accurately.

Responsibilities

• Selects, pulls and cuts appropriate lengths and types of wire based on customer order.
• Verifies the accuracy of the wire cuts.
• Logs wire cuts and assembles orders for packing/shipping.
• Marks materials with identifying information and tracks inventory.
• Reads schedules and orders to determine items to be moved or distributed.
