Job summary

World Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Wire Cutter to join our Florida warehouse team. This full-time role focuses on cutting and preparing wires for customer orders, logging activity in the system, and assembling orders for shipment.

The position requires basic math, PIT operation, and strong attention to detail. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with safety and accuracy as priorities, supported by comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more related experience and/or training.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and perform basic math calculations.
• Computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Experience with Eclipse Software is a bonus and helpful for systems.

Responsibilities

• Selects, pulls and cuts appropriate lengths and types of wire based on customer order.
• Verifies the accuracy of the wire cuts and logs them.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.
• Marks materials with identifying information and ensures conformance to standards.
• Uses the wire management system to enter records and track items.
