Job summary

CMC is seeking a versatile production operator in Jessup, MD to support the fabrication and reinforcement process. You will operate MBK/KN Wire Cage Machine, monitor the PipePro system, and move cages to pallets, ensuring smooth workflow and quality.

The role requires reading work orders, setting up dies, and maintaining equipment. You will work varied shifts, lift heavy objects, document production logs, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift objects.
• Operate and monitor production machinery safely.
• Maintain communication with team and follow instructions.
• Basic computer literacy to read machine monitors.
• General electronics understanding.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MBK/KN Wire Cage Machine and monitor alarms.
• Move cages to PipePro area and palletize.
• Clear machine alarms and assist with nesting/place­ment of cages.
• Read specifications and set up dies, stops, guides.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Manage raw material inventory and stock levels.
• Document actions in production and quality logs.
• Support shift cleanup and teamwork.
