Job summary

Electric Supply and Equipment Company is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect processed wire and cable produced by automated equipment and staff. You will verify cut lengths, strip tolerances, crimps, labeling, and terminal compatibility per engineering specs.

Role includes developing and maintaining the wire processing quality program, performing pull-tests and audits, and documenting results in MES.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years' experience in Quality Control.
• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Knowledgeable in wire and cable attributes and processing methods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect processed wire and cable at defined checkpoints.
• Verify cut length, strip length, insulation, and crimp quality.
• Maintain test procedures, sampling plans, and MES documentation.
• Monitor machine output for drift and deviations.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams on corrective actions.
