Job summary

Marmon IEI is seeking a Quality Control Technician in a manufacturing setting. You will perform electrical testing on in-process and finished products, complete first article inspections, and ensure that wire and cable products meet specification standards prior to shipment.

The role requires 4+ years of quality inspection experience, familiarity with ISO procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong arithmetic, Excel/Word skills, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of quality inspection experience.
• Experience in the wire and cable industry is highly preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word; ability to learn Quality Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing on in-process and finished products.
• Conduct first article inspections to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Create, log, and maintain documentation for wire and cable products.
• Assist with development of Quality SOPs and Lean/5S initiatives.
• Support ISO Quality System procedures and environmental health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with teams to drive quality improvements and testing.
• Work with R&D sample testing and process improvement testing.
• Communicate with all levels of staff and follow priorities.
• Operate in a manufacturing environment and adhere to safety guidelines.
