Job summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky LLC (CATK) seeks a skilled professional to lead process improvement and standards enforcement across material control, production execution, and inventory accuracy. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations, production planning, or inventory control role.
  • Proficiency in ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MES systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, RPA, or similar data automation/reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to skillfully use Excel, PPT and other office software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scrap account processes, ensuring proper documentation, evaluation, and accounting.
  • Support system troubleshooting on the production line related to order processing or master data errors.
  • Act as a cross-functional liaison between production, planning, warehouse, and IT teams to ensure operational alignment and rapid issue resolution.
  • Provide training for Ford colleagues for all above activities & procedure establishment.

Job Overview

Process Improvement & Standards Enforcement Investigate and identify root causes of long-term or recurring issues in material control, production execution, and inventory accuracy. Continuously refine end-to-end material lifecycle processes — from work order issuance to accounting closure and inventory reconciliation — tightening standards and enforcing daily compliance. Promote automation and intelligent system improvements, reducing manual processes and increasing reliability of data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  1. Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
  2. Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
  3. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required.
  4. Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
  5. Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
