Job summary
Paterson Public Schools is seeking coaches for the winter sports season. Season Dates: Dec. 1, 2026 - Feb. 22, 2027.
Candidates must hold a New Jersey Teacher's Certificate or Substitute Teacher Certificate, with proof of experience for substitute certificate holders. CPR and AED certifications must be current. Additional requirements include Concussion Awareness and Wellness and Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness certificates, renewed annually; coaching experience preferred; one year
Qualifications
- Must hold NJ Teacher's Certificate or Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder.
- CPR and AED certifications must be current.
- Concussion Awareness and Wellness certificate; Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness certificate; renew annually.
- Seasonal availability: must be available daily during the winter sports season.
- One year after hire to complete Sports First Aid course.
