Job summary

Paterson Public Schools seeks coaches for the spring sports season in Paterson, NJ. Applicants must hold a New Jersey Teacher's Certificate or Substitute Teacher Certificate and show proof of experience if holding the substitute certificate.

CPR and AED certification are required and must be current. Additional certifications in concussion and heat acclimatization awareness are required, renewed annually, with a Sports First Aid course to be completed within one year of hiring.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute holders.
• CPR and AED certification, with current certificates.
• Concussion Awareness and Wellness certificate or equivalent, renewed annually.
• Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness certificate or equivalent, renewed annually.
• One year to complete a course in Sports First Aid after hire.
• Alternatives may be acceptable per the Superintendent.
• Posting is open for ten consecutive days following the Paterson Public Schools website posting.
