Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks coaches for the winter sports season (Dec 1, 2026 - Mar 8, 2027) in Paterson, NJ. Candidates must hold a NJ Teacher's or Substitute Teacher certificate and be CPR/AED certified, with annual concussion and heat- acclimatization trainings.

Coaching experience is preferred but not required; all hires must complete a Sports First Aid course within one year. Availability during the winter season is required, with postings open for 10 days on the Paterson

Qualifications

• New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder.
• Coaching experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be available daily during the WINTER sports season.
• Must be certified in CPR and AED, and holding a current certificate in both.
• Must obtain a "Concussion Awareness and Wellness" certificate or its equivalent, renewed annually.
• Must Obtain a "Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness" certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually.
• All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid".
• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
• Pending budget availability
• All posting are open for ten (10) consecutive days following the date posted on the Paterson Public Schools website
