Job summary

Skyworks seeks a Winter/Spring Co-Op in Irvine, CA to collaborate with the supply chain team. You will be exposed to automation, optimization and agentic AI projects, applying Python, SQL, and data analytics to improve planning and decision support.

This paid internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment. You must be a graduate student (MS/PhD) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Analytics, with strong communication skills and proven project experience in

Qualifications

Must be a student pursuing MS/PhD degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Analytics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high level analysis and supply planning.
Proficiency in Python (pandas) and SQL; ability to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Automation: build small, reliable automations on live planning/inventory/exception processes; create tools like scheduled queries or Python jobs.
Optimization: prototype optimization or rules-based decision support solutions with clear metrics; use solvers to model and solve problems.
Agentic AI: explore agent-assisted workflows (retrieval, summarization, recommended actions) per defined specs and with human review.
