Job summary

Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail, Colorado is seeking a Winter Seasonal Patient Access Representative to support patient registration, admissions and related tasks during ski season. You will verify insurance, collect co-pays, process paperwork, answer phones and coordinate scheduling, providing courteous service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service and clerical experience.
• Must have working knowledge of English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Register patients and manage registration-related tasks, including obtaining consents and collecting required paperwork.
• Verify insurance, collect co-pays and ancillary paperwork.
• Answer phones and coordinate requests with patients and staff.
• Perform ongoing documentation audits for medical necessity and payer requirements.
• Schedule procedures and provide pre- and post-exam instructions as needed.
• Maintain organized patient records and manage incoming correspondence and inquiries.
