Sugarloaf is seeking outgoing and dependable team players to join our Food and Beverage team as Food Servers for the winter season. This tip-driven role starts at an hourly rate of $7.55 and offers great perks and a supportive team to help you grow in guest service skills.

Both full- and part-time positions are available and begin around mountain openings for the ski season. Responsibilities include greeting guests, detailing specials, taking orders, delivering meals, handling payments, and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• ServSafe certification required or obtainable on hire.
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Monitor and observe guest dining experiences. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).
• Assist fellow servers as situations arise or as needed.
• Assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
