Job summary

Vail Resorts in New Hampshire is hiring for the 2026/27 winter season for Lift Operators and Ticket Checkers, with additional seasonal roles available. Starting wage is $20/hr, with full-time/part-time hours, weekends and holidays as needed, and no prior experience required. Training provided, and outdoor work in all weather is expected.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary; we train all Lift Experience team members (including returnees).
• Must be able to make quick decisions and use judgment regarding safety, multitask, and anticipate issues.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather, stand and move for whole shift, possibly lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lift Operator responsibilities: monitor safety of passengers, load/unload lifts, coordinate with maintenance, follow safety procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ticket Checking responsibilities: deliver premium guest service, validate tickets, coordinate with lift operators, secure equipment, escalate issues as needed.
