Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter seasonal Lift Experience roles in Bartlett, NH. The Lift Operator will ensure safe loading and unloading of lifts, monitor passenger safety, and support maintenance as needed. Training is provided; no experience required, and the position runs through Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 with full- and part-time hours.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr with outdoor work in varied mountain conditions. Housing is available and employees receive Epic perks and discounts.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to quickly make decisions and show good judgment on safety.
• Ability to assist guests outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor passenger safety and provide instruction during lift loading/unloading.
• Operate lifts to maximize chair capacity per guidelines.
• Notify maintenance of repairs needs and support lift maintenance.
• Learn operation of lift equipment in partnership with maintenance staff.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain a safe work area.
• Set up and dismantle lift maze daily per standards.
